A local television news crew in New Mexico became the story when someone stole the station’s SUV as staffers gathered footage for a segment on crime in the area.
“We were doing a story about those concerns, and the city’s response to those concerns when, ironically, we became victims of crime ourselves in exactly the area they’re talking about,” said KOB news director Michelle Donaldson.
Multiply this by about ten thousand, and you will have the evening news near major cities in the Apocalypse.
Where helpless rabbits with no ability to perceive threat meet starving savages capable of doing anything to survive, the comedy will write itself every day.
