I thought this story was interesting:
A man has been arrested and charged after allegedly putting hydrochloric acid inside what is understood to be a lubricant dispenser at a gay club in Sydney’s north-west.
Police said the 62-year-old man went into the Bridge Street premises in Rydalmere on Saturday, filling a dispenser inside a room with the highly corrosive acid.
The ABC understands the club in question is the Aarows club, which describes itself as “Sydney’s gay and bi social club” with “three levels of adult adventure”.
Items in the room had been fitted with alarms after they had previously been tampered with in a similar way, police said.
Though admittedly I have never seen one, I cannot imagine how you would fit an alarm, unnoticed, on a lubricant dispenser. If it is anything like a soap dispenser for your hands, I would think it near impossible to rig, without the tamper-er noticing the alarm.
I suspect they didn’t want to say it, but the room with the lubricant dispenser is probably fitted with hidden cameras, and somebody was watching that room when the guy with the acid made his move. If so, the question would be, what else was happening that was being recorded, and where did the recordings go?
Now ask yourself why Barack Obama, who reportedly frequented the gay scene in Chicago, was so easily whisked up the political ladder, right into the most powerful office in the land. What videos do you think they have on him?
I would bet I could be a governor in five years, if I would just engage in child molestation in a venue which would allow it to be videotaped.

I found this article difficult to read while retching after reading the first line of the quote.
