When a young girl with asthma told Clinton she had been bullied in school and wanted some advice, the candidate responded by saying she had become quite familiar with bullying in her life.
“You’re looking at somebody who’s had a lot of terrible things said about me,” she said.
She simultaneously appears weak, thin skinned, and obnoxious. Who wants a President who has been bullied, and who complains about it? It draws forth all sorts of emotional revulsions, and attaches them directly to her. Add to it the nausea of a grown woman playing the victim card, and she has just lost a few more points of political polling support.
Trump needs to go easy on her. The worst thing at this point would be to wound her fatally before she is nominated.
In other Trump news, it turns out other people have used the term “schlonged” to describe being electorally beaten. How he sucked the media right into a trap! And what a trap. He attached skankiness to Hillary, reminded everyone of Bill, got free media, dominated the news cycle, made the media look stupid, and came out the other end as a victim who was wronged by an evil hypocritical media who is bent of treacherously denying the public his greatness.
I knew Donald would castigate the media for misinterpreting him, and having their minds in the gutter, but I had no idea he would have found the one word which would immediately trigger everyone, attach such a gross image to Hillary, and which had such a long pedigree as a legitimate political term. I cannot believe that was an accident. Either Donald is so good that he is the most brilliant politician in history, including Reagan, or God is putting words directly in his mouth.
