That is a still from Hillary at the American Legion, after Trump tooled her by going to Mexico and sucking up all her coverage’s oxygen. Just look at it for about ten seconds, feeling within yourself the emotion that she is feeling.
Throughout their lives, narcissists go through phases. When they are young, they are much harder to spot than when they are old. In the young phase, they have opportunity, and feel vibrant compared to other older people they meet. Pretty narcissists can even be charming, if overbearing. For them, at that age, the people around them are not necessarily amygdala stimulants in and of themselves, and opportunity abounds. In addition, at a younger age, the difficulty of observers in spotting them can make those around them seem less hostile.
That reduction in baseline amygdala stimulation will mix with increased cognitive capacity, and increased capability at guile, to produce a narcissist whose negative traits are very well hidden, and even almost dormant at times, when you meet them.
As the Narcissist ages, they begin to feel jealousy as they look around them. The younger generation is not seen as their protégés, nor do they derive enjoyment from seeing one succeed and experience pleasure from life. To the aging narcissist, those they see with youth are deeply irritating, because they remind the narcissist that the sand is running out of their own hourglass. The opportunities of the youth only remind the narcissist of their own wasted opportunities.
As the narcissist ages further, and more and more of those around them are younger, this aspect of narcissism begins to be more frequently exhibited. The resultant jealousy they feel grows in strength, as if a well exercised muscle, and they begin to become more permanently bitter. Add in the accumulated amygdala training of the trials and suffering which accompanies their travels through life with a major personality disorder, and the older narcissist can be incredibly disturbed – and unable to hide it. Narcissists only get worse, and more apparent with age.
Hillary is a lawyer and a professional politician. She should never be letting that face be made. She knows that. But her mask is giving way. Trump is taking what is rightfully hers, and he doesn’t care. The whole nation is rejecting her, for Trump of all people, who she has convinced herself is the worst possible person, ever. And now not only will her one shot at the Presidency slip away, she may even get another Special Prosecutor out of it.
She is deteriorating. The only question now is, when will she fully disintegrate, and will it happen publicly.
