MARINE Le Pen’s French Presidential campaign has been boosted after socialist rival Emmanuel Macron cause fury by calling French colonialism a “crime against humanity”…
The independent En Marche! candidate was in Algeria when he made the comments which were immediately slammed back home…
“It is a crime, a crime against humanity, it is a real barbarism.
“And it’s part of the past and now we have to look forward and present our apologies regarding those to whom we have committed these acts. ”
Almost as soon as he had made the statement Mr Macron was roundly slammed by the French commentariat and the public who were angered at the sentiment…
He said: “I am sorry to have offended you, to have hurt you.
“But we must face this common, complex past if we want to move on and get along…”
She seized on former finance minister Macron’s comments highlighting that he has spent much of the campaign overseas rather than in his homeland…
She said on Facebook: “Is there anything more serious when you want to be President of the Republic than to go abroad to accuse the country you want to lead a crime against humanity?
So perfectly r-selected and rabbity. Notice, human r-strategists are migrants designed to move to a land of free resources, when their own homeland’s resources grow scarce. As such, human r-strategists are programmed with urges and ideas about how things should be, which in their mind feel loosely like morals.
Here, this candidate is driven to travel to foreign lands, even when he should be home campaigning for office. While there, he is programmed to align with his hosts, even against his own people, as a way of preemptively appeasing and avoiding conflict.
Just as you, as a K-strategist group competitor, are driven to feel patriotism is morally “right,” he is programmed to feel just as strongly that aligning with his hosts, even against his people is the only “right” moral course. Even as this costs him personally, by negatively impacting his own electoral prospects, he still feels he has to do it, and doing still feels “right” to him.
The funny thing was, if resources had been completely free for the last two decades, with no signs of shortage beginning to appear, if no migrants had flooded France, if there had been no threat or violence, many people in France would have been programmed with the r-selected mindset, and many would probably be defending him, and saying that his words rang true.
Of course, things are not like that. We are heading to an economic collapse, and like herds of deer sensing a tsunami minutes before the wave hits, humans are sensing what is coming and shifting K.
Because of that, France is shifting K, and such preemptive appeasement of foreign out-groups will not fly. Be grateful for living in a time that is shifting K. Things will not always make this much sense to us.
Spread r/K Theory, because you don’t want to be a rabbit when the Apocalypse hits

Vox Day has a post up on his alpha blog about this topic. It’s hard for me to grasp because the rationale sounds appealing and logical – I am not going to ignore my side’s moral hypocrisy, but instead adhere to higher values and denounce them. The whole reason I became interested in Sargon of Akkad and Sam Harris on youtube is they are on the left, but spend most of their time calling out hypocrisy and defending the targets of SJWs. In other words, they have integrity and honesty.
The distinction in the Vox comments so far between these two visions is one of timing and publicity – the actual moral action is to do it privately and not at the exact time when unity is most important. The fact he would do it in a foreign country also makes it look more suspicious – as if he were merely trying to please his hosts. This makes things more complicated for me because I’ve always been taught “person criticizing their own group” = “morally righteous Ghandi/Jesus/MLK Jr figure”.
It seems there is a little r and K in all of us. The author’s discovery is an endless source of keen self awareness
Madame LePen takes a somewhat less apologetic stance towards cheeky foreigners:

If it’s a crime against humanity, it’s not a complex past. It’s a simple past.
