What do you think about this stuff, hypnotism? Especially the NLP type covert hypnotism? I’m not so sure it can work, maybe some people some time at the right time but if it were 100% then we would all be zombies so that shows it’s not. It’s amazing that we can be hypnotized at all. What is the use, disconnection when in serious pain or distress maybe??? I saw a scientific paper that said that there are differences in the brain they can see when someone is hypnotized. Before they said no difference but now they are saying there is some.
If you’re interested in this stuff Derren Brown’s videos are interesting. I know there’s some cuts in his TV show but there’s some interesting stuff in there uncut. It must be extremely taxing to do this sort of mind reading stuff. Some of it is just rote but you have to really be paying attention to do some of it.
