Europe Should Expect “Millions And Millions” Of Migrants

It is true:

The President of the European Parliament (EP) called for massive investments in Africa on Tuesday, warning that millions of African migrants could arrive otherwise. In a forum with Italy’s ANSA news service, Antonio Tajani said: “If the problem of Africa is not tackled—drought, malnutrition—we will have millions and millions and Africans pushing (to enter Europe) and dams and walls will not be sufficient (to hold them back).”

Tajani said that fixing Africa’s problems would require an investment of “billions and billions” of euros.

The words of the EP President echoed recent remarks by European Council President Donald Tusk, who stated earlier this month that Europe cannot cope with the massive influx of migrants crossing from North Africa into Italy.

Tusk called for measures to shut down the maritime migrant route across the Strait of Sicily.

Notice, the rabbit, extrapolating his rabbit urges to Africa, believes that to prevent the migration you need to flood Africa with free resource availability.

Africa will go from 13% of the worlds population at 2000, to 25% by 2050. That’s going from 811 million to 2.2 billion. Back between 1750 and 1800, before external support of the population with free resources provided from technologically advanced societies, Africa had a population of about 106 million. I’d view that as the carrying capacity of the environment, absent external intervention. If you had minimal intervention, of the sort I would expect in a global economic apocalypse, you might double that.

If the next economic Apocalypse is what it appears it will be, and it hit at around 2050, you would have about 2 billion Africans who would all feel their choice would be to stay put and starve, or to migrate to a land of increased resource availability, in this case, Europe.

Most K-strategist societies today use some of their wealth to buy the pacification of the r-selected savages, so they can enjoy the peace – while the r-strategists multiply. The problem is the r-strategists are modern day tribbles. Eventually they multiply up to the point that you cannot keep them all alive because there just aren’t enough resources.

If you have been buying your peace long enough, you may also have bought the long-term destruction of your own society, because once tribbles multiply to sizable enough numbers and the economic conditions collapse, it will be enormously difficult to stop your nation from being buried beneath a tidal wave of r-strategist tribbles. When the collapse comes, aid to Africa will plummet, and Europe will have a flood of African migrants of unprecedented proportions.

I suppose that will be one advantage to being in North America, provided we can keep our own liberals from importing a sizable enough seed population of r-selected tribbles between now and the collapse.
