Former Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz returned to his job in the U.S. Senate on Tuesday with a warning to Washington that the turbulent primary race was a wake-up call.
“All across this country people are hungry for change. This election cycle should be a wake-up call to Washington, D.C.,” the senator from Texas said outside his office. “The frustration and volcanic anger with Washington was echoed throughout this election.”
The turbulence of K-selection has just begun, and look at what has happened. Ted Cruz is suddenly too squishy a moderate to get elected. Imagine what the Apocalypse will be like.
It is puzzling to me that he didn’t grasp that fact and exploit it himself. He could easily have beaten Trump, if he had. If he had espoused all of the aggressive positions Trump took, his “reliable” conservative persona would have given him the advantage. Instead he played nice and wouldn’t ban Muslims, he was less emphatic about the wall, he tried to tamp down the anger rather than flame it, and he even took the side of leftists attacking Trump supporters, rather than jump into the fray himself – it all strikes me as odd, given everyone has been talking about the anger for ages now.
A part of me wonders if Ted was just too timid to grasp the lion by the tail, or if the establishment is somehow averse to fanning the flames of K-selected urges because they feel like rabbits, and fear that a really K-selected populace might turn on them.
This is why Trump is a net win for the movement no matter what happens. Not only did he vastly expand the Overton window on many issues. He has just shown everyone that we are entering a period where the timid conservative is doomed to failure, even with establishment support. The bold one who speaks bad-thinks publicly, and even integrates them into policy, is the one who enjoys the spoils.
That is only going to be exacerbated as the Apocalypse approaches.
[…] Cruz Sees Volcanic Anger […]
I made that point to many a Cruz supporter at Breitbart during the primary campaign – Cruz would have beaten Trump if he had made immigration/free trade/American jobs his issues, but he didn’t.
His handlers are Goldman Sachs and he is not free to represent the American people.
This election has also brought out the (((bankers/Wall Street scammers))) against the American people angle, too. That genie isn’t going back into the bottle without either massive institutional change in America or civil war.
Nov 8…..Trump 60%, Clinton 40%
Post inauguration…….Trump can’t do a damn thing vs. the machine
Unless “the bold one who speaks bad-thinks publicly”
I would go into detail, but why?
Apocalypse is the only realistic cure
Many Happy New Years

Trump has repeatedly sided with leftists during his campaign and I see him as being more squishy than Cruz. Unlike Trump and despite his faults, Cruz doesn’t support amnesty, has never praised socialism, and has always been a much more articulate and consistent supporter of conservatism. Ted Cruz has proposed to ban at least some Muslims and plenty of leftists hate him for being strong against Islamic terror threats while Trump said he will make exceptions to his temporary ban proposal(including for the new leftist Muslim mayor of London) and that he has many Muslim friends.
I will only vote for Trump to stop Hillary. We’ll see what he does if America is at least smart enough to not elect another Democrat.
