Chertoff Endorses Hillary

Not surprising, for the most part:

Michael Chertoff, who served as George W. Bush’s secretary of Homeland Security during his second term in office, told Bloomberg News that the Democratic nominee “has good judgment and a strategic vision how to deal with threats that face us.”

Chertoff, who as a federal prosecutor led a Congressional probe into the Whitewater real estate scandal surrounding Bill and Hillary Clinton in the 1990s, added that “Trump’s sense of loyalties are misplaced” and that the stakes, regarding terrorism and potential attacks, are too high to leave to someone like him.

Obviously ridiculous. Hillary is so unbalanced she is for all purposes mentally ill. This is a woman who tried to convince people the US could just murder Julian Assange, with a drone, on the streets of Europe. Everybody laughed at first because they thought she was joking. Then they realized she was serious and nobody was laughing. Either Chertoff is borderline mentally retarded, or he is desperate for some reason.

I find it interesting for one reason. Trump is a billionaire, and I have always maintained the possibility that he is a machine property. That the domestic intel apparatus is against him would imply he is a totally unknown entity to them. They would rather see Hillary elected, so they can continue to operate as usual, rather than see Trump come in and maybe not like what he sees going on.

This would indicate that Trump is a genuine outsider, making his use of the machine to fuel his ascension all the more impressive.
