Camille Paglia Notes That Gender Confusion Accompanies Societal Collapse

A strange thing to note:

Author, art professor, feminist, and cultural commentator Camille Paglia speaks on the current transgender mania, the wisdom of early medical & surgical intervention (calling it “child abuse”), and how the explosion of gender identities is a recurring sign of cultural collapse throughout the history of civilization.

Why would gender perceptions become skewed at the same time that irresponsible economic decisions and lack of commitment to order cause society to fall apart? What does gender-perception have to do with things like spending and law and order? Why promiscuity too? Why reduced desire to have children and lower replacement rates? Of all the evolutionary urges, a desire to have children should be paramount and unyielding.

For that matter, why do collapsing societies seek to break down borders and welcome foreigners, while ascendant societies seek to erect borders and keep them out?

This blog probably seems harsh with respect to the LGBTQ groups, but I should emphasize it is not personal/emotional. My emotional nature is libertarian, so while the gay thing is not for me, I tend toward a libertine tolerance emotionally.

But there is no denying the fact that the ascendance of gays and other gender confusion in society is a mark the end is approaching, and their increasing presence is probably one facilitator of a pandemic Apocalypse, should that be in the cards.

So while I tend toward a to-each-their-own emotional perception, my logical side looks out on this specific harbinger with a sorrow for all the niceness about to be lost, and just a little fear that it could take a long time to bring back the level of awesome that was the United States when it was united from shore to shore, and functioning as a single, cohesive, K-selected unit.

Spread r/K Theory, because everything makes sense with r/K

I hate to be the one to bring an online friend the bad news, but… read this:

What Martin describes in the article is not necessarily bad, but US might very probably end up split up eventually. Maybe that way the commies and insane lefties in commiefornia can go RIP while the rest of the states get themselves back up in shape.

“Emotional Libertarianism ” is probably a sign of incipient collapse too.

The ascendancy of the Homosexual lifestyle – specifically male homosexuality – has had a major negative impact on heterosexual male friendships. Now that homosexual activists have sexualized everything in life, it is very difficult for heterosexual men to show affection for each other without it being declared as Gay.

AC, I know my eclectic, even chaotic sensibility does not jive well with your libertarian sense of discipline. But trust me when I say I have been very well warned that without discipline I have no hope.

I have variously been skeptical of your theories as an idee fixe and compelled by their logic. I cannot, however, ignore them. My instincts tell me that this is beyond the correlation of historical accident – which is essentially the null hypothesis in evolution.

I see r-type gender bending (of the nature of the cuttlefish who die annually, and among whom the transvestite is sexually desirable) *emerge* among those who have been under the sustained influence of dopaminergenic drugs.

Perhaps this is why young, strong, brave men have been particularly susceptible to the opiate crisis. They are vulnerable to addiction as anyone. In absence of role models like Jordan Peterson and Col. Grossman, they seek to salve the existential pain in opioid solitude.

As it stands, there is no escaping the fact – for reasons I only partially understand – that I will be among the first the mob will recognize. They know I am an enemy, however kindly and liberal my sentiments, conformity is beyond my capacity. The only ones who can possibly tolerate me are those for whom discipline is more important than agreement in the formation of alliances.

The r-selection has been going on for some time. Gender confusion initially heralded its arrival in the 60’s and 70’s as women increasingly rejected traditional norms like motherhood and dresses, for work and pants. Their sons followed suit through homosexuality and pajamas. This also explains the lessened resistance to the 1965 immigration act and LBJ’s “Great Society” programs. Only Conservatives in the South resisted, as they were poorer than the North (a civil war legacy). Also of note is how immigrants and women propelled FDR’s “New Deal” and prohibition. It is all related to industrialization in my view, as it unleashed a torrent of resources upon the Western World. If you project 10 generations from the invention of the Cornish or Corliss steam engines it points to a cultural collapse of the industrialized West sometime before 2050, unless of course a “de-industrialization” event forces Westerners to do more hands on work before then, which could save portions of the West World.
