Billionaires Are Prepping For The Apocalypse

What we should all be looking at, is what the elites are doing:

When I wrote my first article on billionaire bunkers years ago, I never would have imagined how quickly our world was changing. Our lives are in a constant state of flux, the political situation aside, our earth is rapidly changing. Between the increase of bizarre weather patterns hitting the earth, and recent major volcanic activity, now more than ever our focus is on our planets future…

With all of this knowledge of future mapping, do the world’s financial leaders know something we don’t? Consider how many of the richest families have been grabbing up massive amounts of farmland around the world. All property far away from coastal areas and in locations conducive to self-survival, farming and coal mining.

It appears that dry territories in the United States such as Montana, New Mexico, Wyoming and Texas are all very popular regions for the wealthiest individuals. Billionaires such as John Malone (currently the largest landowner in America, owns 2,200,000 acres including Wyoming and Colorado), Ted Turner (2,000,000 acres in Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico and North Dakota), Philip Anschultz (434,000 acres in Wyoming), Amazon’s Jeff Bezos (400,000 acres in Texas) and Stan Kroenke (225,162 acres in Montana) all have amassed major land. Upon further research, many billionaires are preparing for future escape plans with “vacation homes” in remote locations. Many of them also have their private planes ready to depart at a moment’s notice.

Even a wealthy member of the Mormon church, David Hall reportedly has plans for 20,000 person self-sustained communities throughout the country, including the first in Vermont with a recent 900-acre farmland purchase. The communities will be called NewVistas.

Internationally, moguls in Australia and New Zealand have been snapping up farmland at record paces. The interest in cattle, dairy and agricultural farms are all proving tempting for self-sustained survival. But more importantly the wealthy are preparing for safe escape havens, stockpiling real estate in dry areas and moving away from the old-school approach of storing food and water. Money and precious metals will be useless, as self sustainable territory will become the new necessary luxury. Many have installed helipads on their properties for easy access and many are buying up Silos and bunkers around the world.

A lot of global warming bullshit at the article, but the prepper plans of the rich are interesting.

The smartest people in the world, who should be fully rabbitized by their wealth and ease, all see a world of anarchy and chaos coming. To me that is the strongest sign that the Apocalypse is real, and a cataclysm is more likely than the drawn out decline and stagnation.

If you visualize it, you can see the difference between K-selected strategies and the r/K breakdown mindset.

As I see it, you have three options. Option one is joining a community, which will provide collective defense. That is K, and it will probably be the best bet. That group dynamic offers incredible margin for error, if you select your community appropriately, especially when faced with gangs of organized criminals.

Options two and three are to get away from everyone else into an isolated area, or to follow Vault-Tec and get sealed in underground. Those are r/K breakdown strategies, and while I feel an innate attraction to them, I do recognize they are probably inferior as Apocalypse strategies. What you are seeking is to re-establish an element of the r/K breakdown environment, where the land is so tough to survive on that not many individuals can, and populations are thin.

The problem arises in that you are not moving into a harsh desert that will keep populations low. You are simply taking an r-selected level of resources, and placing them into an isolated area. That may attract savages who will try to take your resources, and if they have numbers and organization, it will be an inferior strategy unless you can sufficiently leverage technology.

Then again given what will unfold in the cities, there are different levels of inferiority.

Either way, anyone with a brain has to see that the debt bomb will not end well and some preparation strategy will be needed. Northern Texas is the best bet if you want safety, and southern Texas near the border if you want adventure, because if there is a breakup, Texas will be the citizenship you will want. God help the poor bastards stuck in a liberal shithole, having to wait for their citizenship in a free state to come through via some legal immigration means. Being a citizen of a law and order state/nation from the start will make things a lot easier.

Tell everyone about r/K Theory, because you don’t want to tell them about you prep plans

Martial law would probably be declared (maybe secretly?) before a financial shutoff. The Federal government does, in theory, hold quite a few assets. Stockpiled military gear, oil reserves, mineral rights, real estate. All worth maybe a trillion or more USD. The US government would have military bases act as ports/airports if things got too lawless. They could get access to hard currency as well. Japan, S. Korea, Australia, others would probably pay in Gold for access to weapons, including nuclear ones. And the Fedgov may nationalize banks and eliminate the more corrupt amongst the wealthy- and seize their assets. Now, what country does that remind you of? Those are all things the Russians did, or threatened to do, in the 1990’s after the collapse of the USSR. Maybe, fiat currencies in the hands of nuclear powers aren’t purely fiat after all, they are backed by another “precious” metal (Pu instead of Au). So if the elites know something we don’t there could be some other event besides a debt bubble that they are preparing for. All that land would be worthless if there’s no one to work it.

All the billionaires with all their acreage will have to have someone to keep it for them. If there’s a full on fallout then how will they do so? Will they fight off the ranch hands? Will their security? Then how will they control the security?

They may be good at manipulating symbols but that says nothing about their ability to handle a bunch of pissed off people in a resource restrained environment.

That’s exactly what happened when the Roman Empire broke up — anyone with the resources and moxie to defend a piece of land became a feudal lord. I wouldn’t be surprised to see feudalism emerge soon in Venezuela, being the simplest social system that allows people to grow food and eat it.

If you want in, be a white man with useful skills like a soldier, doctor, plumber, HVAC, or auto mechanic. Even better, be a slender young white female with good hair, no visible tattoos, no piercings, and you’re in like Flynn.

Unless we manage to move to safe nuclear energy that burns all the fuel including nuclear waste with an adequate energy return on investment.

We will see cheap energy coming to an end. And it will result in centuries of K-selection just like the dark ages after the fall of Rome.

“A lot of global warming bullshit at the article…”

Ain’t that the truth. Good grief.

These guys better not go half way with their bunker plans. If you’re gonna do it you better go whole hog, with security, etc. or you’ll just get overrun eventually. The bigger you are, the more of a target.

You just have to wonder how long this is going to take to come around. As the saying goes, there’s a lot of ruin in a nation; particularly one as wealthy as the U.S. Of course the anti-fragile nature of things today is a big wild card. Interesting times.
