As Things Turn K – French Students To Learn Martial Arts?

This is an interesting proposal, though it turns out it is a rabbit trying to reduce the death in K-selection:

A French politician who hopes to run for president next year has come up with an original idea of how the country can combat the “culture of fear” in the wake of recent terror attacks.

Compulsory martial arts classes in France’s schools would help children respond to the fear of attacks in a productive but safe way, centrist politician Jean Lassalle believes.

“There is fear everywhere,” Lassalle said to Le Figaro newspaper.

“That leads some people to go around with a knife. But with martial arts, you develop self-control and learn to defend yourself peacefully.”

Fear. Amygdala. Conservatism. K-selection. Rabbit terror, and eagerness to make sure nobody dies. r/K Theory is everywhere.

“Defend yourself peacefully.” Even the rabbits realize, the time is approaching where you will have to defend yourself. Even the rabbits realize, there is no getting away from what is coming. Now they are hoping they can get people to defend themselves, in life or death circumstances, “peacefully.” That is the position the left has been reduced to hoping for.

It tells you what is coming.

We are different psychologies – different brain programs. We would give everyone guns, and let the good guys kill the bad guys. The rabbits want everyone to survive, even the criminal savages who are trying to kill everyone. We are comfortable with some level of Darwinian selection, they cannot tolerate it. Those are evolutionarily imbued urges and perceptions.

There is no reasoning with liberals. They are, for all practical purposes, a different species.

On the bright side, there will soon be no reason for reasoning with them, because if this collapse is as big as it appears it will be, it will, for all practical purposes, be an extinction event for them.
