The Food and Drug Administration has lifted the ban on blood donations from men who have engaged in sexual relations with another man. Now, in order to donate blood, a man will have had to have been abstinent for the period of one year prior to donation.
This new policy is similar to the deferral period for a woman who has engaged in sexual activity with a man who had previously sexual activity with another man, or for someone who has traveled to a country where malaria is prevalent.
The Food and Drug Administration released final rules on Monday that would allow gay and bisexual men to donate blood if they have been celibate for one year. Under previous rules, men who have had sex with men are banned from donating indefinitely.
Africa right now is mired in chaos, violence, disease, and famine. They can barely feed themselves and keep their electric service functional, if they even have it. But because of that harshness they have amygdala development, which gives them exactly the type of general intelligence and healthy instinctual aversion to disease vectors that our liberal establishment and academia is lacking. We all know there have been cases of gay men with HIV who have purposely spread it. We know there is a deeper psychological derangement that tends to accompany homosexuality than merely the reversal of sexual preferences. And yet, now we allow anyone to contribute blood, not because the system had been broken, but because avoiding conflict and not being critical is more important than avoiding disease.
This is peak r, and it can only be cured by Apocalypse.

Lol, fuck this gay world.
I’m a little confused…. if Gay population (males) is about say 3% what reason do we think they will donate at a rate more than the general population? Adding another 3% of the population as possible blood donors is going to help? I mean if 5% of the general population gives blood, how is adding another little bit that gives at the same rate (5% of the sub population) going to really increase the blood supply?
So not only can they not think, but they can’t do basic math, but I repeat myself.
To be honest the ban does not make any sense anymore since we have the technology to detect HIV analogs/strains very fast and very cheap. As soon as blood is found to contain HIV it should be thrown away.
I’m thinking HIV isn’t the only problem though. I’m betting there is a lot of stuff floating around in there. The one gay guy a family member was dealing with recently was renown in his social circles for everything he had survived. Multiple cancers, hepatitis, digestive problems, pancreatitis, physical injuries, and so on. The idiot relative describing him to me characterized him as “amazing” for having survived it all. My instant impression was he was probably loaded with several uncharacterized viruses beyond “Hep whatever” triggering the cancers, and weakening his whole system, not to mention what was floating around his GI tract deranging his immune function and screwing up repair functions. I didn’t have to meet the guy, but if I did I would have wanted to borrow a moon suit from NASA.
Mark my words, there will be guys like him giving blood, and I suspect some will be doing it so everyone else can suffer with whatever maladies they have.
All of that ignores that there is probably something else on the horizon at some point.
So now that more versions of hepatitis can be cured at phenomenal expense the Universalist Cathedral wants more virus in the blood supply.
A rational policy would be to pay professionally vetted donors with proven health background to provide blood. But no, we can’t have that, everyone in the food chain gets paid EXCEPT the person who brings the essential item.
We are surrounded by irrationality.
@AC
Sexual perversions (i.e. homosexuality) are co-morbid with psychopathy. Psychopaths (and narcissists) greatest motivator is the causation of pain. Use the blood of homos as a biological weapon and voilá … PAIN for the masses!
I mean, in case you were looking for a “why” to this.
Yep! I will never understand the desire to bring pain to the happy, outside of the original good vs evil paradigm.
