From an ad I saw on National Review:
Cute girl. Right side is calm and angelic, left side looks agitated and a little angry, more so because she is trying to look happy and welcoming. Like a person writing, her right side is a little stronger at projecting that than the left. From that I would deduce she is likely naturally somewhat demanding and quick to be displeased, as well as good at covering that up and playing nice when you meet her.
Spread r/K Theory, because you have to watch your ass out there
[…] A Quick Facial Bifurcation […]
When you say “right side” is that her “right side” or the side of the face we are looking at as we view her picture.?
It is the same as if I said her right hand. I think right handed people are right faced to, so if they try to fake a smile to fool you when they are sad, their right face will smile harder, while their left will less effectively hide their underlying emotion. It is why two-faces fascinate me.
I study faces, but more for Anthropology’s sake. I want to start recognizing bifurcation when I see it. How would you recommend I train my eye to catch this?
Do the picture bifurcation, and look at each face. Then make that face in the mirror, and try to imagine how you would feel while wearing it. That is an old exercise from affect psychology that trains you to feel what you see on other people, and it works. Then practice focusing your visual field on the things that stand out. The snarl of a lip, sad eyes that clash with a smile, angry eyebrows, downmouths, and so on. I look at each area in isolation, forehead, eyebrows, under the eyes, the eyes, the cheeks, the nasal ridgeline, the mouth, the upper lip, the nostrils, and so on.
Affect psychology is also a good thing to skim through as it covers the basic emotions, and what they look like. I think if you search that here, I may have linked to a primer on that way back.

What do you think of women who laugh excessively or giggle more than is normal for women? Could that also indicate a demanding amygdala person? Hillary had the bizarre habit of abruptly laughing loudly too as if to simulate a normal human.
I always thought Hillary was all pretend, and probably never laughed in private, so her laughs were all fake. I suppose a lot would depend on whether the girl is potentially acting, and how well you know her. A sister you know well might laugh genuinely because she has a sense of humor, but the narcissist girl who wants to manipulate a guy she just met might laugh to manipulate. It can be tough to judge good actors. And many young narcissists, especially the pretty ones, can be very deceiving.
Have you ever done a facial bifurcation analysis of Joe Biden? Pretty interesting I’d say.
