She doesn’t look that good in either photo, being barely able to do a black power salute in the first, but notice her hair isn’t done in the second. A national speech to the American Legion that would be all over TV, and she didn’t bother to have her on staff stylist do up her hair?
The only way I see that happening is her being too exhausted to get out of bed until the last minute, which would jibe with her being undercover for the last few weeks. It almost makes me wonder if she has been taking infusions of chemo for the tongue lump.
On the other side of the coin, Trump is on a roll, and so are his supporters. Yesterday he spoke of how criminals would be deported, and added that maybe Hillary could be deported too. His crowd cheered uproariously. That is out-grouping, and I guarantee it hurts.
A part of me thinks Hillary’s real reason for wanting the job is to screw over the good people in the country. Narcissists fixate, and accumulate grievances. Hillary’s greatest joy would be to see the entire Vast Right Wing Conspiracy crushed mercilessly, and I assume that is why she is so relentlessly driven to that office. I doubt she has much else, like a joy at seeing how she has made other people happy.
As she realizes she is on a fool’s errand, her amygdala will enter high gear, and the deleterious effects on her health will begin to really manifest. She may resort to blame to try and relieve the load, but blame only works if you can punish the blame-ee, which she cannot. My guess is her deepest rage is saved for Obama, who took from her the easy victory after Bush that she had earned. So she will fester.
If there will be a breaking point, it will be the debates. By then, they will represent in her mind the turning point. Either she will win, become President, and force her will on everyone, or Donald will win, she will get a Special Prosecutor, and in her mind Donald will do everything to her that she would do to him. It will feel like life or death, and her entire body will be breaking down right at that crucial moment, only adding to the frustration.
The stress of the debates, combined with being mercilessly tooled by Donald in them, will be the deciding point. If she doesn’t break by then, she will cruise to her defeat half-assedly, in a permanent state of piss poor health and depression. I tend to think something will give in the run up to them.
The only danger is, that amygdalae spun up as high as hers can begin to look for unconventional means to relieve the stress. Hopefully between the Secret Service, and Donald’s personal security, even Hillary’s little ad-hoc intelligence network will not be able to save her.
My wife and I were discussing why Hillary didn’t also go to Mexico, and when she would. My answer was because she can’t, and she won’t. Two reasons — one, she isn’t up to the trip. She can’t handle that kind of air travel. She had to take a flight to go 20 miles, she can’t handle a 2000 mile plane trip any more than she can handle a 20 mile car trip.
The second part is that the SS can’t let her. Everyone gets Fast and Furious wrong — it wasn’t so much an attempt to interfere in American politics as it was Mexican. 80%+ of the F&F guns went to the Sinaloa Cartel, because it was about arming them up against the other cartels. They did become dominant, but they didn’t end the other cartels, and they all know what happened. El Guapo (or whatever he calls himself) might be tweeting bad words at Trump, but the other cartels aren’t interesting in bad words at the people behind F&F — they want blood.
On the flight, you are probably right. If she has a clotting disorder, a flight might trigger a DVT – the last thing she needs right now.
Interesting on the F&F angle. I wouldn’t have thought of that, but yeah, they would be pissed.
In addition to hurting good people, could Hillary have another motive?
Could she feel so betrayed by her Dem allies in ’08 that she will burn the whole thing down out of spite by concealing her health problems?
Sort of like a big “F you” for turning on her back then. And this is her payback. She knows she’ll get ditched at the altar again by these backstabbers with no loyalty, and now she owes them nothing.
Who knows the true depth of the turmoil in her mind and soul.

Hillary Clinton is so behaviorally abnormal (I believe she’s a murderous psychopath worse than Ted Bundy) that we should fear greatly that if she gets into the Oval Office and conditions change, such that she is suddenly in the crosshairs just like Nixon was, she might attempt to set off a nuclear war.
She’d see the American Public as turning on her, and I have little doubt that she’s so (clinically insane) that she’d happily retreat to the Continuity of Government bunker and attempt to wipe America’s citizenry off the map.
I hate to say it, but I agree. Especially since I see a degradation in her ability to control herself just in the last few years. She is spiraling, and I don’t want to imagine what she will be like after four year of White House stresses.

I don’t believe if she ordered a nuclear attack without a clear attack on the US that the troops would follow her orders. She could however slowly maneuver the US against Russia or China so that there would be no choice. If she does that start thinking about shelter.
Regarding the debates: I had been looking forward to them, but it now appears that what many of us suspected will be the case. The format of the first debate has been revealed, and it does indeed create what is essentially a safe space for Hillary. Most importantly, she will not be required to face off with Trump, as they will come onstage one at a time. Also significant is the fact that a Clinton ally will be ‘moderating’ the event. This all stinks to high heaven.
That does suck. They are going to try and protect her, but my guess is she will still lack the stamina to keep up with Trump. But we will see. I hope Roger Stone is on top of packing the event’s audience.
Nothing is “set” when you are dealing with Trump. The negotiation goes on until the last minute. That’s the format that has been announced. In the next couple of days, Trump and his team will feign ignorance whenever anyone brings up the format, because “we haven’t agreed to anything and they haven’t told us that.” Then, about 5-8 days before, Trump will really start attacking her on rigging the debates and how he won’t participate in a rigged debate.
That sets up the Xanatos Gambit. Hillary has two choices — she can either agree to his debate terms (she can’t, because she can’t do it physically and because he destroys her in a straight up debate) or she can hold out, which means that the hosting network (CNN) hammers her hard behind the scenes because they don’t want the lost ad revenue, and they start giving Trump whatever they can within the rules. And then, the other part of the second option springs, when Trump decides to do the debate anyways — and then spends the entire debate reiterating how the whole debate is rigged and dissecting he media motivation behind every question..
Either way, Trump gets to shift the debate to him vs the media, which is where he has always been strongest, because the media are such piles of shit.
Dick J, Think you have 2 different programs going on. Lauer & NBC with the separate but unequal is not one of the three debates.

I don’t know that much about Chris. I was nauseated by him kissing Mike Wallace’s ass in that Father/Son interview they did. I mean Mike basically abandoned him and his mom to just take off and have fun. And Chris just gave him a big PR moment, kissing his ass, and making him seem human. I’d have told him to eat fuck and die, and them humiliated him for disloyalty, but I recognize Narcissists are evil.
I’d guess by the fact Chris is a pussy, he will be a lib, but Murdoch may fear Trump enough to keep him in line. Murdoch already tried to take Trump out in the primaries, and I’m sure having failed, experienced enough fear to not want to make that mistake again.
This researcher does a “scientific study” to discover what (or how) Trump supporters really think. If only he understood r/K, he wouldn’t be so misled by his own data. He sees his own deficiency of hierarchical thinking as “superior” ( higher on the hierarchy) , and wishes he could make us all like him, by forcing us to live in urban cesspools. I asked him, ” Is it even possible to make someone “lose” their hierarchical nature, without repeated and prolonged abuse?” I wonder if his being forced to live among alien cultures as a child (he is the son of a foreign missionary) is exactly the sort of abuse that dulled his own sense of hierarchical thinking. Maybe I’m reading too much into this, but I am thinking that Obama will cancel the elections by executive order after Hillary is deemed too ill to continue running. Of course he can’t legally do that, but no one will stop him.
Her hair? Hell, what about the missing makeup? It probably takes an hour just to make her look 69 years old. But the big news of the day is the email dump on a Friday just before a three-day weekend, standard operating procedure. I’ll up my bets that the Democratic Party is preparing to replace her very soon, possibly even before the first debate. From her health to National Security, they will have more than enough reasons for her to give that teary-eyed resignation speech.
Could be. She does look pretty bad.
