Paul Nehlen has officially overtaken Paul Ryan in the Wisconsin District 1 Primary poll for GOP House. The August 9th Primary is a top watched race as Speaker Ryan struggles to keep his seat.
You need more polling, but it is promising.
What Donald has done, in the simplest sense, is harness the power of amygdala. That little drive it produces can push people in any direction. As it grows, its coalescence can drive anything from a tremendous societal accomplishment to the destruction of war.
Somehow, Donald has created a situation where conservative amygdalae will not consider him as a hostile. As a result, whenever amygdalae fire up around him, they reflexively look to what is opposed to him, and feel a drive to destroy it. In essence, he has coaxed everyone’s amygdala to get behind him.
Nobody in the GOPe has shown an even vaguely similar skill to the Donald’s, so the rest of the establishment would be wise to tread lightly around him. He is quite literally a career killer.
On the bright side, he will completely remodel the GOP before he is done. Everyone will either get in line, or be cast aside. Given their performance to date, that is a good thing.

People get behind loyal leaders. The GOPe are disloyal leaders. No one would fight and die for Paul Ryan. Many would do so for Trump.
Trump clearly has a very well developed amygdala. How do you suppose he got that way?
I don’t know, but it would be very interesting to know. Good parents who challenged him but didn’t spoil him? Military Academy? Good genes? Probably some mix.
I’m actually impressed he could make so much money, have so much potential ease, and not end up all rabbity. I was also impressed his daughter Ivanna didn’t end up like Paris Hilton.
