Jackson Ward 3 Councilman Kenneth Stokes wants to send a message to police from other jurisdictions who chase misdemeanor suspects through Jackson.
He says he wants to send that message with rocks, bricks and bottles.
Today the councilman told reporters that police from surrounding cities put Jackson children in danger when they chase people on neighborhood streets. He says he’d like black leadership to team up and use force.
“What I suggest is we get the black leadership together, and as these jurisdictions come into Jackson we throw rocks and bricks and bottles at them. That will send a message we don’t want you in here,” he says.
Obviously not the brightest idea if he was genuine in his desires. But if he is a coward, and wants to take the manly blacks who want to bang heads out of circulation, they by all means, lets you and those police fight. There will be plenty of lonely black girls in need of affection after all the aggressive guys who listened to him are gone.
This is also amygdala angst. Everyone is on edge, and desperate to act out, even if they don’t have a logical plan of action. This irritation in society is good. It is the emotional foundation of caring about the future, at least where it bubbles up among K’s. That is assuming that the K’s can avoid being called to action by the rabbits among us.

There’s probably people who look up to him and he knows there’s a good chance that some of them will take his advice but i doubt that he would ever do that himself.
