This is a drive-by comment on an unimportant story that made it into the links:
Sen. Bob Menendez gives up the ghost, reportedly says he’ll resign from Congress.
If he resigns, the Democratic governor will probably appoint the Congressman who the Democrats nominated to run for Senate to fill the vacancy, if he doesn’t appoint his (the governor’s) wife, so no change. The Republican candidate is a gay owner of a bed and breakfast, connected to the Christie group.
The interesting thing about the story is that Menendez didn’t break with the machine and start doing his own thing, once it was clear he had nothing to lose.
If “Biden” is an actual person and too senile to be the Democratic nominee for President, he is also too senile to be President for the next six months. That is what the “Biden must be dropped from the ticket” stories are hiding.
In fact, right now I think “Biden” dropping out of the race, but not either resigning as President or losing power due to the 25th Amendment, would be a bad sign. It is a sign they have retained or regained control of the “Biden” operation and him not being a candidate is to buy time so they can proceed with whatever they have planned for the next six months, where they need control of the presidency.
If there is a big play in the next sixth months, who the US President is on January 20th would be irrelevant, and there may not be one if the play is big enough.
Another scenario would be if “Biden” “dies” or resigns before the convention, but the Democrats don’t nominate Harris. I think that would indicate a plan to steal it for the replacement nominee, and the big move would be in 2025 or later. I’m not sure how to read Harris both becoming President or Acting President and also the nominee, since I really don’t know what is going on with her and her inner circle.
Yeah there’s really no preventing the election being rigged yet again. Then what? Seems like every effort that went into investing the results went nowhere.
Re: the vapor trail photo —
Not only is the shutter speed suspect, but also the framing. You never have the subject of the photo looking at the edge of the photo. It feels wrong. You always frame it with a little bit of headroom (got that here) and more space in front of the subject than behind. That was reversed here — because Trump’s face wasn’t the intended subject.
These are the people who saw 9/11, and all knew, it could not have slipped through the cracks, and it was their operation which did it. I still cannot process these people you meet, who seem so normal, could have what must be such real hostility for the rest of an America which treats them as its own. All that shock, and horror we felt at the act, they must have felt like an exhilaration at getting away with it, and all the hatred we directed at everyone we felt was responsible, they have to feel for the rest of America.
I wish I could see from the inside, what growing up in that thing must be like, because it feels like it must take humans, and just entirely invert what they are naturally designed to be. Either that, or Kyle Odom really knew what he was talking about. Odom’s assertions, despite being so out there, actually would make more sense of all this than trying to shoehorn it into any model where these are people who are human.

I’m NOT saying the shutter speed isn’t questionable, and really these questions need to be addressed by a release of the digital image with all data intact.
The vapor trail, consisting of skin and fluid is what was caught in the photo, not the bullet itself. A question I have is, could the bullet have not made actual contact but was so close that it created a turbulence injury, literally sucking ear material into the vortex?

Good catch. A “typical” photo would have been centered on the “TRUMP” at the bottom of the frame. Supposedly, this is the same photographer that just so happened to get the photo of Bush in the classroom on 9/11.
His camera might have been and probably was on automatic capture. He just holds the button down and dozens of frames are being taken. Still a lucky take.
Different issue. Of course he’s doing sequential shots. (I’m from the era where I would do photog gigs for a wedding and burn through 20-30 rolls in an hour and only use 30-60 frames. Its even easier to do that with digital.)
The point is that the shutter settings should have been for a portrait style shot, not a microsecond sports setting.
