It is important to emphasize, an internship for Biden was a plum position with access to sensitive facts about how things work that (((They))) would not want getting out. I think here, the question you are supposed to ask is, if Obama and Brennan hated Snowden for what he did, why did they never move to embargo any funds from his actions? Why is it if the Trump admin had not moved to do this, Snowden would have been free to keep making money forever off his infamy.
