News Briefs – 06/21/2018

I always see lots of r/K related stories I think might interest the readers here, but I only have time to blog about a few, so here are some news stories that might be of interest. You can skim the titles and summaries, and click the links if they are of interest.

France releases brother who drove around attacker in Paris terrorist attack which killed 130. Makes you wonder if Terrorism Inc is a division of Cabal Inc too.

Homeland Security Secretary Nielsen says that 10,000 of the 12,000 children currently in custody were taken from people who weren’t their parents, and they do not know for sure where the parents are. That is a lot of kids. Think you could supply a Pizzagate ring off that?

Even worse, 6000 child immigrants have disappeared.

US Marine who lost both legs in combat in Afghanistan and now works for ICE investigating child sexual abuse, is excoriated by the New Yorker for having a Nazi tattoo, but it turns out to be his platoon’s symbol, done in the Spartan Creed about protecting women and children. Good job, New Yorker! Modern news media at its best.

FBI hiding names of anti-Trump FBI agents, because they work counterintelligence. FBI Counter-Intel would be a prime target for infiltration because it has so much power to investigate and run elite-level surveillance/intelligence operations. It is also the prime threat, if you are running a privatized network behind the scenes and you don’t want anybody possibly exposing it to take it down.

Soon you will be banned if you are too fast, or if you get muscular too easily. That randomness, absent ability, is how r-selection culls populations, and why r-strategist species never evolve forward into impressive species.

Manafort in solitary confinement. If I was a plant who knew all the Cabal’s secrets, I would want to be kept out of general population too. Still scary when you get food and have no idea who has had access to it.
