The world is one big experiment in how far amygdala atrophy can destroy traditional mores:

Costing between £2,895 and £3,195 for the premium range, DS Doll sex dolls come in all shapes and sizes and can be fitted with a robotic head that speaks.
Sex dolls and robots designed with oversized boobs, model looks and sultry features are typically aimed at men.
But DS Doll wants to normalise sex dolls and robots by manufacturing and selling products that appeal to a wide range of customers with different tastes.
One version that is particularly popular with clients are sex dolls with both male and female genitals, according to Sam, who represents Cloud Climax, the flagship DS Doll reseller in Europe and the UK.
“We have male and transgender dolls too – a lot of our customers are female and a lot are couples as well.”
I say it time and again, but r is the yin that triggers K’s yang. You feed r with this type of technology, but all of these adopters are conditioning themselves in ways that will permanently remove them from the breeding populace. After you have conditioned yourself to only be able to perform in the stress-free environment of taking an inanimate doll out of a closet, you will never be able to endure the stress of pickup approaches. And once you are acclimatized to needing to see both a penis and a vagina on the same crotch, normal women will just not trigger the amygdala enough to produce arousal even if you could handle the social stress. Push r and atrophy amygdala enough that you begin the switch in sex preferences, and require a high degree of disgust and bizarreness for arousal, and there will be no going back, short of regular near-death experiences to recondition the amygdala.
I suppose maybe this is a more humane way to improve the gene pool than a major war, and the effects may be far more effective at the genetic level and the long term.
War molds amygdalae toward K and programs the epigenetic markers to produce a K-strategy, but at the genetic/foundational level it kills off many K’s genes, and it takes the bravest and the most daring genes in higher numbers than most. So although society will come out of it K-ified in structure, and for a generation or so favor K-strategists in mate selection afterward, due to that, you may end up with a hippie generation from the dregs that bred during the war, and when the Kified population produces a glut, the population may slide r that much faster since its genetic foundation is more predisposed to r.
These dolls will simply and gently cull the r-strategists at the genetic level, and they may do it in a way the r’s will not mind, while not impeding K-reproduction. The r’s don’t want kids. The want to avoid stress. And they probably have unusual sexual tastes. These dolls hit all those buttons, and they will cull the r’s from the population at the same time. I am almost for government aid to purchase them for anyone who wants to adopt them.
Of course when the Apocalypse hits, those sex dolls aren’t going to save you from the hordes, unless they have a considerable amount of physical capability and some impressive AI making them like Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider. So the rabbits will probably still be killed in large numbers eventually. But until then, they will be happy, and they won’t be reproducing.
