Minneapolis To Fire Shrink For Scrutinizing Police Recruits

What could go wrong?

The city of Minneapolis may fire its police psychology evaluator because his tests screened out too many minority candidates, despite already lowering psych evaluations far below the national standard.

The July police shooting of Justine Damond triggered the city to scrutinize its psychological standards for police, with many claiming they’d become lax. Psychiatrist Thomas Gratzer has run psych testing for the Minneapolis police for the past five years, and in that time, he has eliminated four of the five tests used to determine whether a candidate is fit to be an officer, APM reported Thursday. Now, Gratzer is facing firing not for gutting his standard, but for screening out too many minorities.

Mohamed Noor, the officer who shot Damond, is Somali and was one of 200 cops approved by Gratzer’s standards over the past five years, which were already far below the national standard.

One thing I have noticed in passing is the nationwide shift in recruiting from raw, results-based recruiting, like Mathematics and English testing standards that offer a clear measure of IQ, to more opaque “psychological testing” imposed on departments by federal decrees out of the Justice Department, and scored behind curtains by companies which I would assume have some tentacle of the machine reaching into them. Ostensibly this is done to increase minority recruiting, but it seems possible government is seeking to take what was a skill-based competition, and replace it with government hiring who they want, possibly based on left-wing psychological predispositions, or other characteristics they deem desirable.

Given a shrink, in a department that already recruited one Somali officer who seems to have surprised his partner with an impromptu across-chest shooting of a blonde female who approached their cruiser, and a department which has also just diminished psychological screening standards, I begin to wonder if the leadership of that city is really committed to producing the best force possible, or if some leftist is trying to turn the process into recruiting an army that will serve them.

On the other hand, he was probably being tasked with trying to fill the ranks with Somalis, which given their 69 average IQ is probably like trying to populate a Mensa Chapter with mental retards and left wing academics.

Whether cop or civilian, the motive should always be producing the best force possible, composed of the best candidates. I am surprised the PBA has not weighed in on this already, given it is their officers who will have to deal with an increasingly dangerous world while relying on the abilities of the new recruits to back them up.

Then again, I was just reading the accounts of some local PD who appeared to be dealing with some form of hostile harassment for unknown reasons from somebody above them, so maybe the PBA has to fly under the radar on this one. Don’t think the Police have any more power in the world we live in as of late than we do.

Regardless, Apocalypse is coming, and it will sort everything out eventually. Until then, fight the machine wherever you can.

My guess is that they are looking for people who will feel comfortable – maybe even exhilarated – at firing on unarmed civilians.

Police Departments all over the US already screening out high IQ people since years and thats not even suprising. The Police is always recruited from the lower classes. Its a gang recruited to secure the tax base cattle people for the government against other gangs. The cops also look more and more like the gangs with neck tattoos and shit like that.
If they now recruit somalis, not even real homo sapiens, its like the Athenians recruiting Scythian Slaves as Archers to Police the Citizenship of the City.

Of course the supreme court declared that IQ tests could not be used to screen for employment because they removed too many minorities from the mix.

And this is part of the reason for the enormous overvaluation of college degrees, which traditionally have been the next best thing when screening for intelligence.

“Noor has not faced any charges”. WTF? Has he at least been fired? I guarantee, if that was a Euro-American who had effed up that badly, he would currently be in (no bail) jail awaiting trial on manslaughter charges, at the very least, while the DOJ warmed up its civil rights team on the sideline for some good ol’ double jeopardy.

Al Franken’s state is FUBAR.

Do the current police officers realize that they are going to be replaced on the job by blacks, muslims and foreigners in general? After that the invaders on police forces will target them, it’s the same globaalist game plan as the USSR and Yugoslavia, just more extreme this time. This is another move on exterminating Europeans from the North American continent.

Im a police officer in MN, just wondering what PBA stands for? I’ve never heard of it. Perhaps you are referring to some union organization and PBA is a generic term that is used elsewhere.
