On June 7, 2010 — about a year and a half into the Barack Obama administration — the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives issued an opinion letter, giving the go-ahead to an after-market accessory that allows the user to “bump fire” a semi-automatic rifle…
According to the ATF’s June 2010 letter: “The stock has no automatically functioning mechanical parts or springs and performs no automatic mechanical function when installed. In order to use the device, the shooter must apply constant forward pressure with the non-shooting hands and constant rearward pressure with the shooting hand. Accordingly, we find that the ‘bump stock’ is a firearm part and is not regulated as a firearm under the Gun Control Act or the National Firearms Act.”
Why would a rabidly anti-gun administration have ATF legalize something that actually allowed almost full auto fire? Not that the ATF was wrong, but you know that one, it didn’t make this decision, and two, if the leftists were operating in an honest effort to minimize the options for shooters, they would have seen to it this was banned for constructively manufacturing a fully-automatic firearm.
Had this recent mass casualty event hit under Obama, there is no telling how massive a gun and magazine ban they would have tried to pass. Mark my words, the Obama Administration went so far to facilitate mass murder that it would be no surprise to find those actors one day recruiting the shooters and covertly running logistics for them. To the rabbits, the ends always justify the means.
Leftists are evil, and don’t care about deaths or suffering, or anything other than creating the r-selected environment, complete with unfettered, random mortality culling the population back. To that end, they just want everyone who is law-abiding disarmed, so everyone is equally vulnerable to predation by the savages.

Thanks, I’d been wondering why on Earth Obama’s minions would even consider approving such a product while simultaneously doing everything else they could to oppose guns. That they did so cynically, hoping for a massacre big enough to let them sell the idea of mass confiscation of guns makes perfect sense, while being at the same time pure evil.
