As Breitbart says, his true colors:
Colin Kaepernick has a lot of rotten stuff to say about the police: he’s called them murderers without proof, he wore “pig socks,” which depicted cops as pigs, and he’s compared cops to slave catchers. Now, it appears he’s put his money where his mouth is.
According to the Washington Times, Colin Kaepernick’s foundation donated $25,000 to a foundation named convicted cop-killer Assata Shakur.
The $25,000 donation to the Chicago-based group Assata’s Daughters, occurred in April, and was a part of a larger, $1 million pledge.
Shakur was convicted of murdering New Jersey state trooper Werner Foerster in 1973 and sentenced to life in prison. However, she eventually broke out of prison and escaped to Cuba, where she continues to live as a fugitive.
The NFL can try to twist this around, but at the end of the day it is supporting disrespecting our country all to offer moral support to cop-killers. At the end of the day, this is all about Kaepernick.
At any moment, Trump can drop the hammer on them, and I do not think a single sponsor or advertiser would stand by the NFL, even in these crazy times. And once that happened, nobody would screw with him in the future.
Of course, being the master of persuasion, it is not impossible Trump is worried that destroying the NFL would be too much. Right now, he has imbued a set amount of amygdala pathways which feature him defending the flag and the nation, and the NFL disrespecting it. It is possible that he will just slowly drop the issue after declaring victory, and in a year those amygdala circuits will be the only pathways left behind. Take it farther and destroy the NFL, and perhaps some diehard NFL fans remember him doing that in a year, and that cancels out the defending the flag.
Not everyone in the nation is as Delenda Est as us. Trump needs to play them as well, because they vote too.

If he does destroy the NFL, it will be to send a message to the media: I can break your toys.
Delenda est- But it’s always so disappointing when they stop short.
