Half Of Republicans Would Support Postponing 2020 Election, If Trump Called For It

The stresses on the republic grow:

Critics of President Trump have repeatedly warnedof his potential to undermine American democracy. Among the concerns are his repeated assertions that he would have won the popular vote had 3 to 5 million “illegals” not voted in the 2016 election, a claim echoed by the head of a White House advisory committee on voter fraud.

Claims of large-scale voter fraud are not true, but that has not stopped a substantial number of Republicans from believing them. But how far would Republicans be willing to follow the president to stop what they perceive as rampant fraud? Our recent survey suggests that the answer is quite far: About half of Republicans say they would support postponing the 2020 presidential election until the country can fix this problem.

Most Americans are not good little sheep, who blindly lick the boot of government to save themselves. If Saddam were made President, we would not flood out of our houses to cheer him like Iraqis, even as we hated him deeply.

Americans abide by the rules because we believe the system is fair, and that fairness makes it worth the effort and sacrifice. We abide by the system because we believe that our opponents are also our countrymen, and we all want the best for the nation.

When Americans come to view the American system as hopelessly corrupt, exploited as a tool by leftist enemies who are true enemies and not countrymen, and discarded by them when it is convenient, America will not be able to be held together by force anymore.

Already 25% of Republicans view it that way, which would seem considerably more than did under Bush II. Probably more leftists are ready to discard the system whenever they can get power as well. That’s probably half the country ready to put an end to the voting system, “temporarily,” and things are getting worse.

When the collapse comes, I do not see the energy to hold the Republic together being there. Those who have the amygdala to force what they want are those who distrust or hate the system, and those who would want the system preserved seem to be the apathetic, uninformed types who lack the amygdala to be players. When the system collapses all on its own, those with the drive to save it won’t want to, while those who would save it, will not have the energy.

Tell others about r/K Theory, because the system is not all it seems

“When the system collapses all on its own, those with the drive to save it won’t want to, while those who would save it, will not have the energy.”

Could you please articulate this affirmation in a different way (aka: explain this to me like I’m really dumb pls)? I’m not being able to understand it as it is.

Thanks in advance.

The left, the organized left with foreign help, is deliberately trying to work up the Right. It’s like some spoiled child poking a sleeping tiger with a stick. Eventually the tiger wakes up, scales and jumps over the railing and chases down and eats the screaming child. That’s our country in a nutshell. No President in American history has received this much pushback or this many threats, save for President Lincoln of course.

When you have had your soapbox taken away, and you don’t have any hope from the jury box, and you can’t even get justice at the ballot box, you’ll get justice from the ammunition box.
