Michael Flynn Targeted By Intel

A top military counsel to President Donald Trump is under scrutiny by US counterintelligence agents who have probed the new national security adviser’s communications with Russian officials.

Michael Flynn, a retired three-star general who was among senior White House staff sworn in on Sunday, has come under investigation as part of a counterintelligence examination of communications between Russian government members and Trump’s inner circle.

Inquiry findings and whether it was still underway remain unclear, the Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday.

If top level counterintelligence targeted him, every word he uttered, in his home and out, was monitored and recorded, and he never went anywhere without generating a full record by a team following him.

This was a career intelligence professional, whose patriotism should be entirely beyond question. And yet in an administration that released Jonathan Pollard and commuted the sentence of Bradley Manning, Michael Flynn was put under the microscope of our most elite intelligence agencies, just as if he was a traitor or terrorist – or maybe not, since traitors and terrorists didn’t seem to get that kind of attention under Obama’s administration.

These investigations had nothing to do with national security, and these intelligence agencies were not performing functions related to national security. This was the politically motivated wet dream of some rabbit at the top.

This is a problem, which had we not elected Trump, would have gotten radically worse under Hillary. The degree to which intel targeted the last administration’s ideological foes would seem unprecedented.

This election was literally a turning point in our nation’s history, and we were incredibly lucky Donald decided this was the election cycle he would jump in.
