Just a first step toward leaving the Eurozone, but the trend is clear:
So much for the globalist breather provided by the Austrian election. The Italians reject Renzi’s reforms.
Prime Minister Matteo Renzi has lost a referendum on constitutional reform by a wide margin, exit polls showed on Sunday, throwing his future into doubt and opening the door to renewed political instability in Italy.
It is worth noting, there is a possibility this could trigger the Apocalypse:
The Italian prime minister is taking a gamble which is no less risky than David Cameron did…
An Italian exit from the single currency would trigger the total collapse of the eurozone within a very short period.
It would probably lead to the most violent economic shock in history, dwarfing the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy in 2008 and the 1929 Wall Street crash. But my sense is that those who would advocate an Italian departure might even relish bringing down the whole house.
That sounds like Apocalypse to me.
There are no guarantees. There was a lot of doom and gloom after Brexit as well, which didn’t pan out. However whether it is the trigger or not, it signals the beginning of a competitive, aggressive, protectionist K-selected psychology which will only grow as time wears on. And that ignores the subtle economic shift toward scarcity which has precipitated this vote to begin with.
Given that much of today’s r-selection and free resource availability depends on everyone having the same “easy come, easy go” r-selected psychology with respect to resources and debt, that psychological shift is the beginning of the debt game turning into something akin to Musical Chairs, where nobody wants to be left standing, and holding all the debt, when the music stops.
Once that protectionist, competitive psychology kicks in, it will infect everything from immigration to investments, to bail-outs. That is when K-selection will make its entrance into our world.
If the commies think the world is a scary place now, wait until they see what is waiting.
Tell others about r/K Selection Theory, because time is running out of the hourglass
