This will bite the government in the ass later, because it will need to be dealt with at some point in the Apocalypse. You cannot have a low IQ raiding economy coexisting for long, next to a high IQ production economy that is fully capable of wiping out the raiding economy. Once there is literally starvation, Europeans will band together and the violence will be epic. That is the way K-selection works.

Once that Rubicon is crossed, you will have large bands of pissed-off working-class Europeans who are accustomed to doing violence. For the elites, who are going to the target of nearly limitless ire, that will be a much different situation than a bunch of pissed-off Europeans who had not formed into a large band, and already crossed the boundary of doing violence.

I see it as another data point indicating a major world war may be in the offing. I just do not see how the European elites let those groups sit around, and ponder how much the European elites deserve to be hung from lamp posts. It just seems they will have to direct that violence away from the upper echelons of power in the European nations.

If they don’t, I think it is even money right now that Merkel won’t die of natural causes – and I only say even money because she is so old she might die before the Apocalypse begins.
