The staff first convinced the long time anti-Trump Republican to not deliver a Thursday speech intended to distinguish his vision of the Republican Party from Trump’s agenda for the party…
Kasich, who wanted to plan a 2020 run for the presidency, was embarrassed by Tuesday’s results. His staff sat him down for a meeting on how to go forward with Trump in the White House for the next four years.
“The inner circle sat him down and had a come to Jesus talk and got him to cancel the speech.”
Kasich announced over a week ago, when he voted by absentee ballot, that he wrote in Arizona Sen. John McCain’s name on the ballot instead of voting for Trump.
Kasich is obviously popping too many antidepressants, and I am not talking about his tardive dyskinesia. He is genuinely cuckoo.
Donald had lots of advantages. The amygdala debility of his opponents, which prevents them, to this day, from being able to perceive simple reality, was one of the biggest.
This rube saw Donald win decisively, and still couldn’t grasp that the entire nation wasn’t waiting with baited breath to hear his pontifications in preparation for uniting behind him and his Presidential run in four years. His staff, cautiously, had to try and walk him toward the idea that now was not the time to give a speech shitting all over Donald Trump’s vision for the future of America.
Sometimes, amygdala dysfunction defies belief. It is all the more amazing when it does so within the Cuckservative elite as badly as it does within liberals.
[…] NeverTrump Kasich Was Mentally Ill […]
There is evidence on the net ( if you dig deep enough) that points to Kass-itch being a possible closet gay. If true – a double life filled with that much secrecy and suppression would help to explain some of his personality.
Why do you call it an amygdala issue, as opposed to just emotional block or cognitive dissonance? Why would such delusions be confined only to one place and cause in the brain?
I have spent a long time looking at the brain, and in the back of my mind are a myriad of places in the biological sciences where I saw Nature had a tendency to simplify and consolidate complex things and mechanisms, like cognition, into very simple and elegant single mechanisms that ran everything according to simple rules. If you grasped the single mechanism, you could then extrapolate out the complexity.
If I say emotional block, or cognitive dissonance, who knows where that is produced or how? There could be twenty places in the brain. My readings thus far indicate the brain is more elegant than that, and while it has many different functions, most all are plugged into the amygdala, which does the primary processing, and is a sort of “seat of consciousness” for lack of a better phrase. I assume the complexity happens as a result of the complexity having been an outgrowth of added on features to a fundamental system that came first in primitive form.
If you grasp how the amygdala flags, what flags are (activation), how they feel when amplified, and what amygdala activation feels like, in terms of motivating to gain relief, a lot comes into focus. Pleasure is a release of amygdala. Pain is an activation. Anger a type of activation where there is a solution in sight. Fear an overwhelming type of activation with no solution. And so on.
When you realize what amygdala development is, in response to regular activation even more comes into focus. It is probably the primary reason people “change” as they get older. Learning math won’t change who you are. Entering the Marine Corp and going to war will. One is amygdala-intensive, the other not.
As that model builds, you begin to see why people behave the way they do, and how to modify that behavior. It is a key that unlocks many doors, though it does not come quickly. To that end I realize a lot of this later material may not make as much sense to newcomers, as it does to those who have been around here a while and read previous works here.
I never liked Kasich. I viewed him as a democratic in a Republican circle. I especially hated the lines that he would go on about his daughters hating how politicians fighting on stage and how everyone should be civil at the debates, well sir that is politics. I also did not like his position on Climate change. I think he would of been better at the DNC.
I’m going to say, definitely gay. I just watched him speak.
Is that an angry narcissist upper lip he’s sporting?
And that lower in a perpetual pout. Poor baby.
It’s not easy being Kassie.
OT: I’d like to see you discuss or speculate about r to K shifts in individuals. Case studies of amygdala growth would be very interesting.
Some years ago, my daughter worked in a restaurant that Kasich and his then girl friend frequented. She despised him. He was, and is, a self-absorbed narcissist who treated the cooks and waiters with contempt, demanded special items not on the menu, and left niggardly tips. His then girl friend now wife was every bit as bad. I believe his political career is over. Too bad he didn’t hasten the end by making that speech.
