German Bikers Attacking Muslims Migrants

At first blush, this sounds promising:

Europe is in chaos. Over the last year, German Chancellor Angela Merkel has allowed over one million Muslim migrants to come to Germany. Many of these refugees are young, uneducated males, with no skills, no understanding of German, and no plans on assimilating.

As terrorist attacks and sexual assaults by these Muslim newcomers become more common throughout Europe, many Germans are regretting inviting these people to their country.

Now there are multiple reports of German biker clubs roaming the streets of German cities, attacking Muslim immigrants. Two Pakistani men were recently hospitalized after getting attacked by a group of 20 German bikers.

The Cologne, Germany newspaper, Express, reports large groups of rockers and hooligan gangs are now organizing themselves via Facebook to meet in downtown Cologne and other German cities to start “manhunts” of foreigners…

The bikers say they are defending the honor of German women by “beating the living hell out of Muslim refugees”.

Sign me up as a gang prospect. Imagine how this will embolden the K in the rest of the population.

My first impression was that lot of these biker gangs would probably deal drugs, and have various other criminal enterprises, the turf of which they need to protect. I wondered how much of this is actually gang warfare between the biker gangs and the new Muslim criminal gangs, which the bikers are trying to portray as patriotic direct action to protect German women. But then I see they are alerting Law Enforcement and Surveillance to their activities and plans in advance on facebook, so you would think these are not real criminal gangs, which are by nature insular and paranoid.

Do not organize your criminal activities by facebook, twitter, or any other means easily penetrated by outsiders. If you must, employ extensive anonymizing countermeasures. This can be dangerous, because all you have to do is put the battery in the burner phone you use for organizing while sitting at home, let it automatically ping the towers for missed calls, and that phone will be linked to you geographically. Or say the wrong thing while the battery is in it, or not keep the cameras lenses taped, or use it to visit the wrong online site to log in. One small failure in tradecraft can lead to a lifetime of misery. And that pretends that surveillance hasn’t already penetrated your communications, and shown up in the shadows to parallel your little organized outing and document everything and everyone that does it.

And if you begin engaging in behavior like this, I would assume surveillance will quickly show up to get a feel for who you are, and by that, I mean within a day. You will not last long at this without employing very aggressive counter- and anti-surveillance measures. Without one go-around with surveillance under your belt, to expose you to the incredible technology-mediated capabilities of the modern surveillance team, you are at an enormous disadvantage. Just file away that if you catch one guy on a highway looking shocked that you noticed him looking at you, they are probably listening in your car and in your house, monitoring all of your technology usage, and aware of all your patterns and preferences – and they have been for a while. Do not talk freely, and act as if you always being watched, until you are completely sure you are not.

Whoever gets involved with anything like this, let the movement percolate, until it is culled of the idiots, and the leaders have had experience with the machine and keeping it at bay. Being the first guinea pigs who try to figure out the government’s capabilities on the fly is a prescription for a long, long prison stay.

That may be one reason the next extra-legal resistance in the Apocalypse will come from the underworld. These biker gangs are accustomed to the idea of surveillance. They grasp the tech deployed. They know the procedures, components, techniques, and objectives which comprise a surveillance operation. They know the deception practices employed to hide those from the untrained eye. They know how insiders are recruited. And the smart ones have spent decades carefully assessing the facial expressions of everyone around them, subtly applying suspicion to see how the person responds under pressure, and replaying events in their minds compulsively looking for suspicious circumstances and behaviors in compatriots. And they have spent decades relentlessly finding ways to perform illegal acts while insulating themselves from the bane of legally-admissible evidence. All are acquired skills.

When the Apocalypse comes, then for better or worse, those will be the groups who survive the initial cull by the government. So the rebellious individuals who survive that governmental cudgel will likely at least begin their careers in extra-judicial behavior while in apprenticeship within such groups.
