I have been trying to monetize the site, maybe turning it into an institution that would outlive me, but it turns out there is no possible way to do that. Ad companies, even the supposedly conservative Patriot Ad Group, will not touch us. Most won’t even return emails. I don’t like taking donations from readers, because those who donate are exactly who I do not want to take money away from and impoverish. But there may be a way around all of this.

If people here want to contribute, there is a way they could, without giving money. Following is an url to a financial blog that is the basis of an experiment. It is benign, sterilized in the way commercial advertising pages have to be, and only espouses the established knowledge agreed upon by the mainstream media. It was designed as an intelligence operation would design it, to fly under the radar and look like one of their sites, one of their own positing the establishment-agreed-upon data. It is still messy, and I am learning how it needs to be done for that format, but considering I slapped it together in two days, it isn’t a bad start. Still, it is not what you get here.

But if you really want to spend a couple of minutes after each brief and contribute to this site, open a web browser that doesn’t have tracking disabled, like Microsoft Edge, and hit the main page of the new site, and then go down the list of the ten articles, opening the first, spending 10-15 seconds on the page (so it does not look like bot activity), jumping back to the main page, opening the second page, spending ten to fifteen seconds there, and repeating the process down the list of ten articles each day. Every day there will be ten new articles, so every day will be new material. Occasionally, maybe jump from one article to another in the sidebar, just to mix up the pattern of traffic and not have everyone doing the exact same thing.

It will need to just be done freely, on a regular basis for a couple of months, day by day, with no gain, to build an analytics profile to pitch it to advertisers. But if I can get advertising for it in a couple of months or so, then in about 2 or so minutes of your time, that might drop as much as .20-40 cents in this operation’s account each day, which with 400 or 500 people, would make all of this a real going business.

It will need to not generate anything for at least a month, probably two or three, while it builds an analytics profile to show there are users hitting the site and creating the traffic. Ad people actually demand and dig through those site logs and your google analytics account, looking for bot activity, or the same IPs going back and forth from page to page in seconds, just trying to generate traffic numbers, before they will even talk to you. They want to see real people looking at the pages. So if anybody tries to jump back and forth quickly to get everything over with in ten seconds, they will pull that traffic out and discard it, and that effort will have been for nothing. Likewise, they will notice if a user visits the same pages a few hundred times each in one session. Unfortunately it needs to be real traffic.

But if real readers with real IPs actually surf the site, reading the articles each day, it might generate enough to begin to turn this side of the thing into a business which will go on, build a brand name for this site, attract many, many more readers, and maybe do bigger things in politics. It is tough to say where these paths lead when you haven’t even taken the first steps.

The downside is, it would be a marathon and not a sprint. Those who wanted to contribute here would have to spend the two minutes every day after reading the brief actually surfing the second site for real. The upside is, if ads worked, we would be getting fueled by the very system which refuses to monetize us, and which is trying to shut us out. I like that a lot better than trying to separate my readers from their family funds going into hard times, and I would feel much less guilty every time I had to spend money on something.

Give it a thought, and see if visiting the site might be of interest to you. If this works, I could see hiring a couple of our people to make the material on that site become maybe as interesting as the material here, and then get us some real marketing here to make this place a household name. Maybe you might even see Lowell as a paid live streamer on here touring the Shot Show and promoting us there, or somebody else chasing down RINOs for laughs at CPAC, building out brand there.

I’m doing it that way because I do not want this site in the referrer logs, for obvious reasons, and I prefer other mechanisms behind the scenes not link these two sites. I hate to ask for the trackable browser, but I just realized I am not even getting registered as traffic in Google or wordpress in Brave, so even I am going to be doping everything in Edge on that site just to pump up the numbers. Everything in this will depend on those stats registering.

To those I asked for emails, and contact info, I have not forgotten about you. But as you can imagine, this whole new site on top of this, is eating all my time, and until I play this out, it will be difficult to say whether I will be wasting your time or not. There are still several ways this could, and maybe will, fail. I can’t know until I try it. But if it works, it might be that stepping stone for us to move to the next level and make a real impact.
