Unlike a single person’s insight/writing, what you do is REPLICABLE. You disappear? That’s the LAST THING your coverage wants. They know EXACTLY what will happen. TONS of us with the same level of drive will crawl out of the woodworks and replace you. And many of us will discover the formula you did and the awakening will continue. How do I know? Because we were going to do it anyway until we found you, saw your degree of insight/dedication, breathed a sigh of relief, stopped and realized what that meant, then muttered “ah dammit that mission’s taken”, and found other incredibly painful ways we could attempt to spend our lives productively for The Fight. AC, you might not be building a media empire, but in my eyes, you’re freeing so many of us to attempt building other alternative businesses/platforms. And if you figure out your formula of how to replicate this type of swarm, our enemies will have to resort to EMPs, because the “Anonymous Conservative Bacteriophages” would begin to completely permiate the World Wide Web.

It is an excellent point, and to that end I just want to drop a couple of pieces of advice for any who come after and replicate this site. If this site ever did go down, anyone here can surf all the regular suspect’s sites and draw out the pearls to begin building their own audiences. You move fast, and look for the big things which catch you immediately because they are big, and you ignore everything else. I already did a piece on the technical aspects of creating a site like this previously – getting a host, clicking through the menu on the control panel to set up the wordpress software, and then using the dashboard to adjust how the site looks until you like it. It is all point a click, and only about $75 to start for the first few years. My only warnings would be, one, it isn’t fast. I’ve been at this a while, and the growth is glacial by the standards we are taught to expect. I figured a few years, and virality would take over and cause r/K to make this thing explode. The truth is, it is more of a snail’s pace, but growth is constant.

Second, you will suck at the start. Nobody knows how to do this, and there is no way to learn it, except by going out and fucking up, learning, and getting better. Mistakes can seem big when they happen, but they are meaningless over the long term. Finally, you will still suck after doing it a long while. I miss things in articles, misinterpret stories, even post satire which I thought was legit at times. Just ignore the stumbles and keep going. If you are going fast enough to be useful to everyone, you will fuck up. One person cannot go fast enough to accumulate the value a regular professional website with a staff, supplies to readers, and not stumble regularly.

But that is how it is. If there are to be un-comped sites like this, almost all, or even all will need to be lone operators, because if you are the type to do it you cannot trust anyone, because they are probably already around you, and have been for a while. And there are legal risks which open up, due to conspiracy laws, if there are more than one of you, and especially if one is comped and goes off the reservation to do something illegal, purposely to take you down. So you have to operate alone, and do it fast enough and frantic enough you will fuck up regularly. But I think it is useful to our side, and you are accumulating real power every day. Just try to take your security as seriously as possible and be unpredictable enough you are tough to plan around.
