Merkel has Erdogan exactly where she wants him:
EUROPE is on the brink of war as Turkey gathers fleets of boats to ship 3,000 migrants a day to Greece in retaliation over the European Union’s (EU) vote to freeze accession talks.
Greek intelligence officers have discovered the Turkish plans which they say involve thousands of dinghies and motorboats already being gathered along Turkey’s western coast.
The analysts said Syrian migrants are preparing to board the vessels and wash up on Greek shores “within a matter of weeks”.
National intelligence officials estimate at least 3,000 undocumented migrants could enter Greece each day under the plan.
That is 1.1 million migrants in a year, and Turkey has 3.5 million right now to send, with more on the way. All of that, and Greece is presently sinking financially with only 60,000 migrants in their country.
K-selection is incoming, and fast. Turkey can’t support the migrants it has, and Greece doesn’t have enough resources to take them either. Now somebody has to get screwed, whoever gets screwed is going to want to strike back, and that could easily trigger an escalating spiral of retaliations and bloodlust that will lead to war. And this is in Greece and Turkey, who already have a long history of animosity and resentment.
The first time a global war erupted, we had an intertwined network of treaties and mutual support agreements which ultimately dragged most of the world into a massive global battle with two acts. We hoped it would never happen again, but this time we have a united European Union, and a united Muslim world with adherents now disbursed throughout the world. It would seem fate doesn’t want to be denied.
This is the stuff world wars are made of, and it would appear unavoidable at this point – and the real Apocalypse hasn’t even begun yet.
