r-selection happens in free resources. Free resources condition one to ease, and produce amygdalae that are totally incapable of tolerating even the slightest imagined negativity. Finally, the incapability to tolerate even the slightest imagined negativity is the mark of an insane culture. Ergo, the r-selection of free resource availability produces insane cultures.
The Fleur de Lis is a racist trigger due to it’s association with slavery. Or so says an African who feels triggered despite the fact he has no relation to slavery, and who says he’d be even more triggered if any of his family ever experienced slavery.
These are the immigrants we are hiring to find the grievances Americans don’t want to find, or are too lazy to find.
The fleur de lis, a French symbol used by royal families dating back to the 13th century, and emblazoned on the New Orleans Saints helmet, is now being called a symbol of slavery, drawing comparisons to the recent uproar against the Confederate battle flag.
“As an African I find it painful, and I think people whose ancestors were enslaved here may feel it even harder than I do as an African,” said slave historian Dr. Ibrahima Seck to WWLTV.
He connects the usage of the fleur de lis, to “code noir,” or black code, which was adopted in Louisiana in 1724, and used to govern to state’s slave population.
You can see how practically incapable r-strategists will be if adversity strikes. You don’t storm the beach at Normandy and win if all of your troops are complaining that the green color of the landing craft is a coded insult attacking their Irish heritage, or the dead soldier on the beach dropped dead with his ass in the air to insult homosexuality, or the red color of the blood in the water reminds them of the flag of the Nazis who they find triggering because they are so mean.
The truth is, adversity is the normal state of affairs on this planet. It is for that reason that man was created to overcome adversity. Remove adversity, and the human machine will fail to develop properly in its absence. Once that occurs, the only way to characterize such a culture is insane, and the only way to repair the damage is a double dose of adversity.
Apocalypse cometh.

“Apocalypse cometh.”
Amen.
Bring it, please.
I’m serious.
