K-selection Will Entail A Mad Money Grab

When the money dries up, there will be no rules, other than if you can take it, you can keep it:

You may have heard of civil asset forfeiture…

Now, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol has a device that also allows them to seize money in your bank account or on prepaid cards.

It’s called an ERAD, or Electronic Recovery and Access to Data machine, and state police began using 16 of them last month.

Here’s how it works. If a trooper suspects you may have money tied to some type of crime, the highway patrol can scan any cards you have and seize the money.

“We’re gonna look for different factors in the way that you’re acting,” Oklahoma Highway Patrol Lt. John Vincent said. “We’re gonna look for if there’s a difference in your story. If there’s someway that we can prove that you’re falsifying information to us about your business…”

“If you can prove that you have a legitimate reason to have that money it will be given back to you. And we’ve done that in the past,” Vincent said about any money seized…

… the state is paying ERAD Group Inc., $5,000 for the software and scanners, then 7.7 percent of all the cash the highway patrol seizes.

Right now, I’d assume that this is being used for more or less legit purposes, because we live in a time of r and money is everywhere. But if K-selection hits, and these departments can’t feed their officer’s families, understand that if you have a bank card, it is not impossible your savings account could get zero’d out in a moment by a uniformed unit on a traffic stop, as you drive to your vacation at the shore. Now, under asset forfeiture rules, you then have to go to court and prove that your money wasn’t associated with any crime and in between the agency might offer you 70% of your money back, for expediency. Assuming it could easily cost you more for legal representation to get it all back, you could end up with a 70% haircut on your account for no reason at all.

When the apocalypse hits, the big contest will be to see who can guard whatever wealth they have, and not just from criminals but from the government too. They say procession is 9/10ths of the law, but in apocalypse, it will be everything.

If someone is suggesting a tactic… it’s a tactic they hope you adopt for their own benefit. You are accomodating in order to appease them… or you are difficult. Your choice.

I literally felt my stomach churn when I read that.

There is no way that what they are doing is justified. The card is not cash, the card is simply information describing an account. This is no different than seizing a house based on a property deed.

That isnt a free country, that isnt a country of laws. That is a country of thieves, madmen, and cowards.

Shame on everyone in Oklahoma for allowing auch an abomination! Shame on you, youve disgraced yourselves completely!

I never want to hear another word about “the war on drugs”. I see it is nothing other than a disgustin and filthy lie used to deprive men of their liberty.

And shame on all the “police officers” in Oklahoma state, God damn you all, you wicked men. You are not lawmen, you are nothing more than a mob of gangsters who were a badge. Even corrupt oolice officers are better than you vermin, you scum. Because at least the corrupt police officers have the vasic decency to violate the law. You are so filthy, so disgusting that you have passed laws to justify your sin. You have RAPED the law. God damn you all to Hell you evil men.

On the other hand, the r-strategists have a lot to gain from this technology as well. Imagine the ability to dispense instantaneous ‘economic justice.’ There was a short story I read somewhere about a future world where people could be suddenly debited via ‘microsuits’ that anyone could file on their smartphones for various microaggressions, which naturally could be claimed on a low standard of proof.
