… representatives of the Democratic National Committee told the FBI that they had been bugged by parties unknown…
They found evidence that a listening device might have been in operation – and that evidence then went to the FBI, and further up the food chain, Mother Jones reported.
But unnamed sources told the site that the October sweep found radio signals near the chairman’s office.
Nobody was identified in the investigation, the source said, and no device recovered.
But the information was passed on to the FBI…
Given Technical Surveillance And Counter Measures (TSCM) experts didn’t find the device, it is possible the sweep was picked up by the device’s operator while it was in progress, and the device was shut off remotely after TSCM saw the spike, but before they could hone in on it.
Listening devices today have remote shut off, and are undetectable through signal sweeping once shut down. That are also built into stuff in such a way that the only way to find them once shut down is to tear a building apart piece by piece, and then break up the pieces looking for something embedded within them. They will be hidden in molding, ceiling tiles, light bulbs, and so on.
It makes the intel game very difficult, because if you suspect a bug, and are under coverage, linking up with TSCM without your coverage realizing is the most difficult part of getting a sweep done, especially if you have a tail.
You visit a TSCM office, your sweep is burned. You call out from where the bug is, they hear it and your sweep is burned. You do an internet search looking for a specialist, you may be burned. The observation post watching your office spots a TSCM team entering, your sweep is burned. It is a very tricky business.
In this case, with professionals doing the sweep for people who probably knew how to play the game, the TCM guys were likely contacted and contracted through some associates or family of a worker in the office, they were smuggled into the building, and they tried to do the sweep covertly.
If so, it is not impossible that somebody in an observation post, listening in real time or peeking through windows with binoculars, got a real asshole pucker as he either heard somebody reference the radio signal spike, or saw through a window a TSCM specialist closing in on their device location with some sort of field strength meter, and the race was on to shut everything off.
Learn to play the intel game, because when the apocalypse goes down, only those playing will survive. It is the ultimate advantage. Guns, tactics, fortifications, and so on are all kindergarten gaming. Intel will be the PhD/MD level of ass kicking when the shit is going down.
Paranoia is the new black. Wear it with pride.
Possessing the will to pull the trigger is the ultimate advantage.
When the Apocalypse hits, the IT nerds and techie geeks are screwed.
It’s the big, Hard Men who can, and will, kill, who will prevail.

Or the Democrats are just lying because they want to blame something on Trump. Tell me why that’s not credible. They’re scum bags.
